It’s an honour to be Chairing the Odisha State Chapter of the Association of Physicians of India for the year 2026.
At the outset I would convey my gratitude & thanks to all the members and specially the out going team of the Governing body lead by Prof R K Dalai, for having made our association one of best run in India. Since the API was formed with a singular idea of spreading the science of Medicine and to promote research in the field of Medicine we have lined up an impressive agenda of scientific updates this year We shall start our activities from Koraput and shall continue it at Jharsuguda and possibly at a few other places besides having our Grand Finale as the 46th Annual Conference at Bhubaneswar in November. I would like all of you to take part in all our activities and would welcome ideas and possibly changes the way we function in the coming days and months. I wish all our members and their families all the very best of learning and fellowship all the year round
